Last updated: June 9, 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

QuickFooting ("we", "us", "our") is operated by James Reece, an individual sole proprietor (the "Seller"). By using the QuickFooting website and calculators (the "Service"), you are entering into a contract with the Seller.

2. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You confirm that you are of legal age to form a binding contract.

3. The service

QuickFooting provides construction calculators for squaring foundations, sloped (hillside) layouts, decimal-to-inch (tenths) conversions, concrete volume, and materials estimation. A free tier and a paid "Pro" subscription are available. Results are estimates intended to assist qualified construction professionals; you remain responsible for verifying calculations before they are used in the field.

4. Account & accuracy

You must provide accurate information when creating an account, keep your password confidential, and are responsible for all activity under your account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam;
  • Infringe any intellectual property rights;
  • Introduce malware or probe, scan, or test the security of the Service;
  • Scrape, copy, or resell the Service or its content;
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code;
  • Circumvent any access controls or paid-feature limits.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by the Seller. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with your selected plan. All other rights are reserved.

7. Payments, billing & refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms, which govern payment methods, billing, taxes, cancellation, and refund mechanics. For our refund window, see our Refund Policy.

Pro subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. You may cancel at any time from your account page; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

8. Service availability & warranties

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Seller's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunity. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold the Seller harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, present a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our acceptable-use rules. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your account data after a reasonable period.

12. Changes to the service or terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the Seller resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

14. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent through the contact link on our site. Billing or payment questions should be directed to Paddle at paddle.net.
